As an accomplished multi-instrumentalist, Anne’s performances showcase the diverse range of music for which the clarinet is renowned. Anne’s vibrant performance and varied programme reflects her musicality, not only on clarinet but also flute and saxophone.  Her shows take a journey through the broad range of music that popularized the clarinet, from its orchestral roots and traditional jazz through to Stranger on the Shore and Rhapsody in Blue, and from world folk music to artists such as Billy Joel and Alicia Keys.  Anne’s playing encapsulates the different sounds the clarinet can produce and its resonant vocal quality.

Anne’s career has taken her from the leading concert venues in Britain through to the finest theatres on the seven seas, performing on saxophone, clarinet and flute in P&O Orchestras across the fleet. Always looking to discover new horizons, in both travel and music, Anne draws on these experiences in her performances.

Having studied at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and Trinity College of Music, where she won the John Ireland Chamber Music Competition, Anne’s experience includes solo recitals, orchestral performances on bass clarinet and musical theatre work on clarinet/sax/flute, performing on BBC Radio 3 and at Buckingham Palace.
